Deep Silver Games Come to Utomik
Streaming service Utomik are continuing in their mission to become the Netflix of gaming by adding more titles. With over 500 games already, players will now benefit from games published by Deep silver as well.
The deal brings titles such as Saints Row 3, Dead Island Riptide and Metro 2033 Redux to the service, which is available on PCs, and currently in open beta. If you’re not familiar with the service, it’s essentially a streaming service that downloads chunks of the actual game to your PC as and when needed. Unlike the now-defunct OnLive service, the actual game is transmitted, rather than what amounts to an interactive video stream. This means that the service is more dependent on your hardware than your internet connection, and no loss of quality should occur.
Deep Silver is the latest publisher to join Utomik, and they’re in the company of some big names, including Disney, SEGA, Telltale and Epic Games. The company are ever expanding, releasing up to 30 games every month, to grow their subscription library.
