Deadly Premonition 2 Releases This July
Following its reveal in last year’s September Nintendo Direct, the sequel to 2010's cult classic horror title, Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise, has a brand new trailer revealing the game’s release date.
Unsurprisingly it’s a rather unconventional trailer, feeling more akin to the opening credits of a late night TV series than that of a game trailer; a rather fitting theme, given the not-so-subtle Twin Peaks inspiration as seen in the original game.
Instead of featuring scenes of gameplay or in-game cinematics, the trailer instead features more impressionistic images of what is assumed to be locations from the game along with some of the characters. The imagery is accompanied by staff credits and a prog-rock track that’s touted as Deadly Premonition 2’s main theme.
Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise releases exclusively on Nintendo Switch 10th July, 2020.
