Dead Space for Free on Origin

Yes, you read that right, Dead Space is currently free on PC until the 8th of May 2014. The 2008 survival horror game from visceral games was never a big hit financially but it's certainly one of the greats.

Origin are using this as the launch for their new "on the house" program that will be giving away games for free. No instant game collection "pay a sub and lose the games when you stop" nonsense. You hit the button, you get the game, it's yours.

Free?! What's the catch?
There's no catch. Grab full games, expansions and more at absolutely no cost. Just make sure to act fast because On the House specials can appear and disappear at any time.
Why is Origin doing this?
