Dead Island 2 Beta on PS4 Before Xbox One and PC

The open-world zombie apocalypse survival game, Dead Island 2 will be releasing the beta exclusively for PlayStation 4, for a period of 30 days before Xbox One and PC.

The information was found on the Dead Island 2 FAQ page, which says:

"THOSE WHO HAVE SELECTED PS4 AS THEIR PLATFORM OF CHOICE FOR THE DEAD ISLAND 2 BETA WILL RECEIVE ACCESS 30 DAYS BEFORE XBOX ONE AND PC USERS."

The game's beta release date has been unannounced but is bound to be sometime during 2015. People who are interested in playing the beta can request a token of redemption for the game to be emailed to them two weeks prior to release. However, this may not guarantee access to the beta.

The only way to certify and secure a place in the beta would be to purchase Escape Dead Island which comes with a redemption code.

Dead Island 2 is not the only Dead Island franchise currently on going as the team at Deep Silver are currently working on Dead Island Epidemic, the MOBA and the Dead Island Movie which was recently put back into development.
