DayZ Officially Launches

That’s right, DayZ has officially launched. Well, the mobile edition of the game that is. Introducing MiniDayZ a spin off the PC release which has you survive in massive open-world ravaged by a zombie outbreak.

MiniDayZ, based off a popular fan-made browser game has been picked up by original DayZ publishers, Bohemia Interactive for a mobile release. The mobile release, besides having a cute but deadly pixel art style, followers its PC brother with same in-depth survival experience only in mobile form.

Featuring a hardcore, permadeath survival experience. Players are stranded in a post-apocalyptic world, you have to fight the infected, wild animals and the harshest of weather conditions. In order to survive, you have to scavenge cities, towns and military bases for food, weapons, and other essential gear for survival.

MiniDayZ is available now for iOS and Android device and compared to its original browser release, the mobile version offers hi-res pixel art visuals, randomly generated game worlds and tailor-made touch controls.
