Dauntless Gets a New Season & New Platform

The large creature battling game Dauntless has just launched it's latest Hunt Pass, but so much more as well in it's Stormchasers update.

The new Hunt Pass is called Myth & Legend, and brings with it a "knights of old" theme, with swords and chunky armour transmogs featuring prominently. As usual it sports the free tier and the Elite tier which you can get onto by using Platinum.

The biggest feature, however, is the new Escalation mode which sees you heading to a new set of islands to fight multiple - random - Behemoths. Sometimes on their own, sometimes not. What's more, you don't get a break to restock your supplies, you have to press on and gather that super charged aether! Although between battles you get to choose one of three randomly selected perks.

As part of the new mode there is a new Behemoth, Malkarion, which Slayers will have to mount to do extra damage to. You can see the beast towards the end of the trailer above.

Finally, as mentioned in the title, Dauntless has arrived on Nintendo Switch. As part of the "One Dauntless" initiative, you will be playing with all Slayers on other platforms, as well as Switch, and your progress is account-wide.

Dauntless is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
