Dark Souls II Beta Open to PlayStation Plus Members this Weekend

Sony's EU PlayStation blog page has just been updated with details pertaining to the Dark Souls II beta. On Sunday 27th October, PS Plus members worldwide will be in with the chance to access a three-hour beta for the rock-hard RPG. 

If, like us, you live in old Blighty, you're going to have to get up bright and early for a chance to get in, as the beta runs from 7:00am to 10:00am GMT. The blog states that the aim of the beta is to stress test the games online servers, explaining the very short availability period.

For those of you interested in getting an early look at the upcoming sequel, Sony have suggested that gamers download the beta file in advance of it going live on Sunday to ensure that everyone can maximise their play time. 

Dark Souls II is scheduled for release in March 2014.
