Hidetaka Miyazaki, the man behind FROM SOFTWARE's breakout hit Souls franchise is now the president of the developers following a statement made by the company yesterday. Miyazaki's promotion comes following a shake up in personnel at the company, which included the producer behind Demon's Souls, Masanori Takeuchi becoming senior managing director.
These changes in staff follow the acquisition of FROM SOFTWARE by Kadokawa, who publish anime, manga and videogames including Killer is Dead and Lollipop Chainsaw after they purchased 80 percent of FROM SOFTWARE's stock.
Despite his new role as President, Miyazaki is still reported to be working on a new titles, thought by some to be the rumoured Project Beast. With E3 just around the corner it seems likely that Miyazaki's latest project will be revealed. If it is we'll keep you updated.
