Cult of the Lamb's First Major Free Update Is Out Now

The widely popular and award-winning roguelike cult sim, Cult of the Lamb, has launched its first major content update, bringing a ton of new content and features to players for free!

Including a new post-game storyline and revamped boss encounters, Relics of the Old Faith expands upon the base game and addresses player feedback in many ways. Particularly, bosses have more challenging attack patterns, adding further combat depth alongside the new Relics combat system, which allows players to collect items that grant a powerful new ability to use in their crusades. The update also applies Heavy Attacks to the game’s five weapon types, each of which is upgradable to a stronger version. But with all these new combat elements for the Lamb to play with, it's only fair that heretics have also been given a buffed-up arsenal, including shielded enemies, moving rivers, and swinging axes.

As much as Cult of the Lamb is a dungeon-crawling roguelike, it is also well-loved for its management systems! With Relics of the Old Faith, players can now use five new structures, such as the Kitchen, the Crypt, and much more to manage their Followers.

With a new Photo Mode, Accessibility options, and achievements, it’s clear why players are devoted to Cult of the Lamb. “We never expected that so many people would play our game and we’ve put as much as we possibly could into Relics of the Old Faith,” the team said in the update’s launch post on Steam.
