Crossout - Steel Championship Update Trailer
Let's not beat around the bush here. Targem Games' has its eyes on Psyonix' Rocket League crown with the latest update for multiplayer vehicular combat game Crossout. Titled Steel Championship, the update adds a three-versus-three car football (soccer, if you're from the land of stars and stripes) game mode, a new map, more rewards, countless tweaks and more. For a full list of changes and additions, check out the changelog. For a closer look at the new game mode, check out the trailer above.
It'd be unfair to criticise Targem Games too harshly for aping Rocket League. After all, it's not as if Psyonix did anything particularly innovative; football HAS been around for centuries. Plus, with a whole league system introduced with this update, it's clear that Targem is taking this mode seriously.
The Steel Championship update for Crossout is (cross)out now for PlayStation 4 and PC.
