Set in the year 2201, you are a prisoner in a world where the only way to live out your prison sentence is by being sent to distant planets to gather resources for global corporations. Your sentence takes you to a planet focused on life, death, and rebirth, and it begins now.

Developed by Creepy Jar, the team you might recognise for their survival simulator Green Hell, is proud to show off their upcoming title StarRupture. Live out your sentence on a unique planet where life, death, and rebirth are natural disasters that are reoccurring, and the alien fauna will threaten your factory and prevent you from fulfilling your prison sentence.

Set up a factory as you mine the natural resources of the planet, as you set out to explore for resources and take advantage of the secrets you find to create an automated system. With diverse flora and a wide array of resources at your disposal, you'll need to automate and prepare resource gathering and processing... but be wary of the naturally recurring cataclysms.

As the world's life-giving and death-taking star, named Ruptura, acts up, cataclysmic events will befall the world, destroying everything in its path. Head to the safety of your factory, protect yourself from the solar rain, and rebuild from the ashes what has fallen as you wait for the cycle of rebirth to begin anew.

Live out your prison sentence alone or with up to three other friends in four-player co-op as you head to the planet to gather resources. There are more threats than Ruptura that await to hinder your progress, however, as the alien wildlife will invade your factory in hordes, mixing in first-person shooting and tower defence elements as you prepare turrets and defend what you've built.
