Crazy Taxi Now Free on Mobile

SEGA has today announced that the mobile version of the original Crazy Taxi will be available for free to celebrate the upcoming launch of Crazy Taxi Gazillionaire.

Previously priced at £4.99/€4.99, the free version will be available across all mobile stores including the App Store for iPhone, iPad and on Google Play for Android devices with controller compatibility also being added on top of the existing touch controls. 

Though the free version will come with ad support, those that already own the game will continue to do without the nuisance of ad pop-ups. 

Originating as an arcade game, Crazy Taxi first made it onto consoles as part of the Dreamcast's library and since then has continued with a number of follow-ups in various forms across various platforms.
