Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time gamescom Trailer Reveals 'Flashback Tapes'

Developer Toys For Bob, announced live on Gamescom that Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will include “Flashback Tapes”; a new take on bonus stages that the original trilogy were known for. Unlike the bonus rooms however, these tapes serve a narrative purpose - acting almost a pseudo prequel to the first game, when Crash and Coco were tested on by Dr. Neo Cortex in his nefarious laboratory on Wumpa Island.

It’s up to you to traverse the side-scrolling puzzles, and possibly the backstory to how this little marsupial gained sentience… or not.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will spin its way on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 Xbox Series X, Xbox One, 2nd October 2020.
