Coromon Reveals its Difficulty Modes in New Featurette
Coromon will be out on the 31st of March, and so developers TRAGsoft and publisher Freedom! Games have revealed the difficulty modes available for players.
In this featurette, they cover the four preset difficulty modes: Easy, Regular, Hard, and Insane. Insane is their name for their variation of the "Nuzlocke" mode, which will be well-known to Pokémon trainers. For obvious reasons, Coromon won't be referring to this outright as a Nuzlocke, but we can all see the influence.
In the Insane run, you can catch one Coromon per area, and fleeing is not an option. You can't teleport, and once your Coromon faints? Well, that's that.
There's even a fifth difficulty option, which features many challenge accessibility options that allow the player to customise item prices, availability, capture limits, healing limitations, and more functions.
Coromon can change things up with each playthrough, including different wild Coromon, enemy trainers, skill and evolution paths, and many more, making your travels across the Velua region ever-evolving.
Online multiplayer matches will be entirely different by changing the difficulty and varying your skillset. Then, as you claim your right to fame across the Coromon community, you can even ensure that you don't have to make multiple teams per platform. Cross-save functionality is fully available between both Switch and Steam versions of the game.
Are you interested in challenging yourself to Coromon? Then good news! On the 31st of March, it will be available on Nintendo Switch, Steam, and on the Epic Game Store.
