ConcernedApe Teases Content for Stardew Valley 1.6 Update
Stardew Valley is in for yet another content update with 1.6, and ConcernedApe has released an exciting sneak peek, detailing what’s to come. Although 1.5 was meant to be the last big update for the beloved farming sim, there’s so much coming with this new update!
Posted to X (formerly known as Twitter), ConcernedApe confirmed that a new farm type, secrets, two mini-festivals, and a new major festival will be included in 1.6. Plus, small additions and adjustments throughout the game. The rest includes:
- New late-game content, which expands on each of the skill areas.
- New items and crafting recipes.
- Joja alternatives to some end-game quests.
- 100+ new lines of dialogue.
- Winter outfits for the villagers.
- A new type of reward for completing billboard requests.
- PC support for 8-player multiplayer.
While there’s no release date for Stardew Valley 1.6 just yet, there’s certainly a lot to look forward to. Additionally, players are also eager to hear more about Haunted Chocolatier, which is currently in development.
Stardew Valley is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
