Comcept Show Off Mighty No. 9 Gameplay

At the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, Comcept showed off gameplay footage of Kickstarter funded Mighty No. 9.

The video shows Mighty No, 9 and Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune playing an alpha ROM of the game with incomplete graphics. However, the footage does show off some of the game mechanics, where the protagonist Beck is shown jumping and shooting but also appears to have some kind of air dash that can be used as an attack as well as a sliding manoeuvre.

Also contained in the video is artwork and a brief introduction of Mighty No. 1 through 8, who will be featured as the game's boss fights.

Mighty No. 9 has an estimated release date of April 2015, it will be available on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, Windows, OSX and Linux.
