Colossal Order Celebrate Cities: Skylines Success With Free Stuff
Paradox Interactive have announced that their popular city builder, Cities: Skylines, developed by Colossal Order and released two years ago has now sold over 3.5 million copies worldwide across all platforms. To commemorate this milestone they are preparing a free set of three oriental-inspired buildings for the community.
Fredrik Wester, CEO of Paradox Interactive said the following:
“From the first day Cities: Skylines was released, it’s been breaking records. The game had our biggest launch in history at the time, selling 250.000 copies in its first 24 hours, and the community has only gotten bigger and more devoted over the last two years."
"Happy birthday to Cities: Skylines, congratulations to Colossal Order, and my sincere thanks to all our players."
The free DLC will be titled "Pearls from the East" and will include a Panda Zoo, a Chinese Temple and the Shanghai Pearl Tower. No information regarding a date has been given except the infamous "soon" but it probably won't be long.
