COD4 Remastered Requires Infinite Warfare Disc to Play

The thought of it must have come to many of those looking to purchase Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare just for the upcoming Modern Warfare remaster. You buy Infinite Warfare, you redeem your MW Remaster code and sell off Infinite Warfare well, unfortunately, Activision saw this coming.

First appearing on Charlie Intel, it appears that within the disclaimer of Modern Warfare Remastered it has the following:

Modern Warfare Remastered is a full game download (game disc must be inserted to play Modern Warfare Remastered).

There you have it. This recent disclaimer basically says that you are required to use the Infinite Warfare disc to play Modern Warfare Remastered, which is a full game download. It only affects physical copies of the games, but it is likely that even if you attempt to refund the game digitally the licenses of both games will be removed. 

It is unfortunate and it certainly won't go down well, as you just know people will attempt to return Infinite Warfare after redeeming Modern Warfare. But nonetheless, on a business side of things, it's smart, especially considering they don't want people buying Infinite Warfare redeeming Modern Warfare and selling off Infinite Warfare.
