Cities: Skylines - Green Cities Announced at Gamescom

In the case that your cities have become grey with pollution and lack that viridescent glow, you will soon have the option to become eco-friendly in Cities: Skylines with the new Green Cities expansion pack.

This downloadable content will add a huge selection of new visual options, complete with eco-friendly buildings, organic stores, electric vehicles, and new services designed to make pollution a thing of the past. There will also be new in-game services and buildings alongside revisions to noise and environmental pollution to allow total control over how organic your city wants to be.

As always, free content is also expected to drop in this update. At no extra charge, you will be able to introduce electric cars, with changes to noise pollution and more beautification options coming too.

Cities: Skylines - Green Cities will be released for £9.99 ($12.99) later this year via low-carbon-footprint digital delivery for Windows, MacOS, and Linux PCs.
