Circadian City Out Now on Steam Early Access

Fancy a change from the hunky-dory fantasy of titles like Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing? Take a look at Circadian City, the refreshingly cynical life sim with something of a loose grip on reality (and not in the same way as your typical life sim). It's out now on Steam Early Access. Daytime in Circadian City (which is both the game's title and its setting) is a typical affair: (try to) make friends, find hobbies, explore the city and, if you can, look for love. At night, however, is when things get surreal. "Bizarre" creatures wander free, reflecting your activities during the day; new challenges present themselves alongside new gameplay mechanics; and just like how your daytime activities inform your night-time dreamscape, the dreamscape too impacts your personality during the day.

It's an intriguing new take on the life sim genre, one that stands apart from franchises like Harvest Moon with gameplay, themes and a message of its own.
