Check Out What's Coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley's Dapper Delights Update!

There's a lot to look forward to in the latest Disney Dreamlight Valley update from what we've seen in the teasers! Thankfully, now Gameloft has released a blog post that shows much more specifically what is coming.

Tiana is arriving in The Valley, and she's not coming alone! Aside from getting a new princess to spend time with to unlock Friendship Quests and unique items, we'll get to add a whole new restaurant to our Valley! And as if that weren't enough, she also brings a stall that will sell meals that rotate daily. This is great news for players who don't enjoy spending their time cooking for Energy!

To celebrate her arrival, a new Star Path is arriving, too, and it's all about being dapper! Among the things that bring back the 1920s style, Donald Duck is getting a whole new suit!

He isn't the only one getting some love, either, as the Ariel's Royal Bundle is releasing, and in it, players will find tons of The-Little-Mermaid-inspired items, including a new Dream Style for our princess!

In addition to this content, good news is coming to those who love visiting the store every day, as Scrooge McDuck is getting a new batch of goods! It's a good idea to go back and check the decor around the Valley, too, as some of them will have an interaction that will make the villagers interact for a photo op.

As for improvements, there's a lot to go over! Those who have previously purchased the Nefarious or Skeletal Tool Set will receive the matching Royal Hourglass skin to complete the set!

And speaking of sets and glamour, tons of quality-of-life changes have been added, particularly to UI and menus:

• Players can now search for items in the Furniture and Wardrobe menus.
• Items can now be marked as Favourite or Hidden, and they'll appear in their respective categories.
• In addition to the above, favourited items will appear at the top.
• New items will have a "new item" tag to find them easier.
• Both menus will have new sorting options.
• Players can now save outfit presets.
• Rooms can be reset with just the click of a button.
• Two new full-body poses have been added to Photo Mode.
• On the Settings menu, players will now find the option to replace button pressing for fishing and timebending for just holding down the button.
• It will be possible to skip the result screen after cooking to speed up the process.
• Some changes have been made to Remy's Special Deliveries to balance out the rewards and crafting, such as increasing the base number of Wrought Iron rewarded to six.
• Belle's character model has been changed to better represent her.
• Villagers will no longer go to sleep, though they will go and hang out at their house during their schedules.
• Critters' schedules have also been changed to make them be around during more accessible hours.

Additionally, there is a mention of upcoming improvements to the gamepad experience, beginning with the spring button changing to Left Bumper! And, of course, cross-play for PlayStation and PC will also be available when the update goes live.

Last but not least, players who own the Rift in Time expansion will get to finish the storyline, add Jafar to their Valleys, and even get a figurine for Scramblecoin!

Disney Dreamlight Valley's Dapper Delights update will be available on the 21st of August!
