For those who haven't heard of it yet, King Arthur: Knight's Tale is a turn-based tactical RPG set in Arthurian legend. Of course, this title puts a spin on the beloved story of the once and future king — you play as Sir Mordred, who, after killing Arthur, succumbs to death only to be risen again by the Lady of the Lake to finish what he started. Group up with the renowned Knights of the Round Table, choose their class, level them up, and prepare to battle all sorts of enemies that stand in your way! But beware, as each knight has their own likes and dislikes, and if they don't agree with you, their loyalty will shrivel, and you won't need any distractions from your target: King Arthur himself.  

If that premise is exciting to you and dark fantasy titles are up your alley, then you might want to learn more about the upcoming DLC named Legion IX. In it, we'll discover an all-new threat that is casting a shadow over the kingdom of Avalon: the Roman Ninth Legion! Aside from being able to experience a brand-new campaign, players can look forward to new heroes, foes, and combat mechanics that'll bring freshness back to the game!

Unfortunately for fans of Mordred, we'll be taking a new point of view this time around, as we'll be playing as a tribune of the Ninth Legion. Throughout the new journey, we'll get to reveal hidden secrets of the Lady of the Lake as well as uncover the remains of the Roman colony in Avalon. 

The Ninth Legion has escaped from the hells of Tartarus and will wreak havoc across Avalon, but eager fans of this upcoming DLC will have to wait a while before they can experience the title. King Arthur: Legion IX has just been revealed, and it won't be releasing until "Early 2024", with a more precise release date yet to be announced.
