Check Out Spirit City: Lofi Session's Latest Major Update with the Trailer and Information!
The latest major update to Spirit City: Lofi Sessions is officially out! There are quite a few new features and quality-of-life changes, including some highly requested additions, such as the ability to preview items before purchasing! So, without further ado, let's get into everything you can find in it.
Let's begin with what's new:
- Hundreds of new items have been added for customisation, including new types, like flowers, plushies, and lamps.
- Players can now decorate and customise new areas of the room, including the ability to change the ceiling, light fixtures, and even beams, among many others.
- Two new spirits join the roster (and two new achievements for finding them): APE-bit and Flutterfrog!
- New backgrounds for the baywindow have been added, offering a total of four!
- Four new soundscapes are available: comforting purring, distant cityscape, whispering creek, and ocean serenade.
- A new music playlist is available; this one is tailored around studying/working.
And now, let's talk a bit about the quality-of-life improvements:
- Players can now make different lists on the to-do widget (up to five) and even add a due date for them.
- The to-do list and Pomodoro timer can now be moved and resized; if you need them to reset, all you need to do is right-click the UI button!
- It's now possible to preview items before purchasing.
- Some tweaks to the audio settings have been added so players can customise the volumes better.
- The Spirit Credits have been balanced, giving us 1 per minute in-game.
That's it for the in-game stuff! Additionally, the team is hosting a Back to School Games celebration from the 26th of August until the 2nd of September; this means there will be tons of titles at a discount! Additionally, the merchandise store is now live, with 10% off until the 9th of September. Players will find tons of different options, including mugs, shirts, and more weeks. Click here to pre-order!
If you're excited about what's coming next, Mooncube Games gave a heads-up: the team will be taking a few weeks to rest, as they've been working non-stop since launch back in April! There's more coming, however, so stay tuned for more. In the meantime, don't forget to check out the video for some sneak peeks at what's new in Spirit City: Lofi Sessions' update!
