Previously, we spoke about Guild Wars 2's expansion through a sneak peek that our writer got to experience! But if you haven't heard about it, let's dive right into all the details we've got for you today.

Janthir Wilds marks the fifth expansion for the MMORPG, and it brings one of the most requested features: player housing! Now, you'll be able to decorate your own homestead using brand-new build tools! And the news only gets better for those playing with friends, as you'll be able to work together to use the over 300 new items! It's not just for looks, either; the new homesteads will offer a mount stable, room for alternate characters to relax and even resource-gathering improvements!

Aside from a whole new place to call home, there are two new maps to explore: Lowland Shore and Janthir Syntri. In the latter, players will find massive elemental entities that have absorbed the power of the land, offering a whole new world boss fight to experience. Additionally, there is also a new collection of seasonal rewards from the Wizard's Vault and combat utility for the Warclaw mount.

Last but not least, for the first time since the game's launch, all character professions will get a new weapon type: Kodan Spear Mastery! This will allow players to have a variety of new abilities to use as they explore the new lands.
