Enshrouded has been in the eye of the community for a while now! This survival craft title puts us in the shoes of a Flameborn — the last hope for humans after an elixir brought forth The Shroud. This vile fog corrupts everything it touches, coating areas of the world and growing evil from it. This is where you — or you and up to 15 other friends — arrive to save the world by building a new world over the fallen kingdom.

One of the things that makes Enshrouded stand out from its survival craft competitors is the feature of having to go out and find NPCs to build a world with. This is a vital part of the game, as each one will unlock new opportunities and allow you to progress further in rebuilding everything once again.

In addition to that, players can look forward to voxel-based building, crafting, foraging, and even finding their favourite class through the skill tree system that allows for freedom and flexibility! And for players who have friends lined up and ready to play, they'll be happy to know that the co-op aspect was kept as a main priority throughout the development. 

If all of that sounds exciting, then we're happy to announce that Enshrouded has officially released on Steam's Early Access! Although the developer, Keen Games GmbH, expects the game to be out in about a year, their main concern is player feedback.

Enshrouded is now available on Early Access, and the developers have plans to release on console when the full game launches.
