Cheat Yourself to Victory in Assassin's Creed Origins
If you're on PC, you'll soon be able to manipulate reality itself in Assassin's Creed Origins, with the new Animus Control Panel.
Releasing later this month, it'll be the first time in the series' history that such an addition will have been made, so it's one that has taken me rather by surprise. In fact, I can't remember the last time there was an officially sanctioned cheat console that looks as comprehensive as this. If only GTA Online had one.
As you might be able to make out from the screenshot above, you can do simple things like give yourself more health in God Mode, increase the movement speed on NPC's, or even change your character's skin. Not everything is in view in the screenshot above, so we can expect an even greater breadth of options available.
Ubisoft has created three presets with various toggles, and you'll be able to share your own settings with others in a dedicated forum.
As Animus is tied directly to the Uplay overlay, it won't be available on console - and will likely remain that way for the considerable future.
Assassin's Creed Origins released last October on PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One.
