Celebrate the New Year with Black Desert Online

Black Desert Online's Christmas event may be nearing its end, but the celebrations are far from over. A series of new year events will reward players with a boost of items, resources and XP.

Speaking to Lara on Balenos' Coastal Cliffs on new year's day and flying a new year's wish lantern will reward players with a 'Box of Wishes'. Once opened, the box will reveal five separate resource bundles to kick off a new year of adventuring:

• Hard Black Crystal Shard Bundle
• Memory Fragment Bundle
• Caphras Stone Bundle
• Cron Stone Bundle
• Sharp Black Crystal Shard Bundle

The rewards don't end with the box of wishes however, logging in on consecutive days between the 1st - 15th January 2020 will also earn dedicated players the following goodies:

• Day 1 - Item Collection Increase Scroll (60 min) x3

• Day 2 - Hard Black Crystal Shard x10

• Day 3 - Blessed Message Scroll (100 min) x3

• Day 4 - Valks' Cry x5

• Day 5 -  Rare Boss Furniture Box x1

• Day 6 - Advice of Valks (+40) x1

• Day 7 - Cron Stone x100

As if that wasn't enough, a 100% boost to combat XP and 10% boost to skill XP (rising to 200% and 20% respectively on weekends) will begin on 1st January and run until an unspecified time. 

With these rewards, it's clear that Black Desert Online wants players to bring in the new year within its expansive virtual world. Remember, the wish lantern event is only available on 1st January, don't let those lanterns fly away without getting in on the action.
