CD Projekt Red Is Now Worth $2 Billion

CD Projekt Red, the brains behind The Witcher is now worth $2.3 billion according to the recently published earnings. 

The value is based on the market valuation of the company, located in Poland, and goes to show that they are in a good place. The company hit the $1 billion value mark this time last year meaning they doubled their value in the space of a year. Given how successful The Witcher 3 was (and its expansions), it is no surprise that CD Projekt Red is worth so much. Their newest game, Gwent, the collectible card game from The Witcher 3 has also been doing well so far as it attempts to tap into the same market as Hearthstone. 

CD Projekt Red are currently hard at work on the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 which currently has no release date.
