CD Projekt Red Delays Cyberpunk 2077 and Witcher 3 Next-Gen Upgrades

CD Projekt Red has tweeted that the next-gen upgrades for Cyberpunk 2077 and Witcher 3: Wild Hunt were being delayed.

"We have an important update regarding next-generation updates of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” the company posted to Twitter. “Based on recommendations supplied by teams supervising the development of both games, we decided to postpone their releases until 2022.”

The company has mentioned their current updated goals. It seems like we can expect Cyberpunk 2077's upgrade to release sometime near the first quarter of 2022, and you'll have to wait until the second quarter if you want Witcher 3's.

Many users have mentioned their annoyance with the situation, sharing pictures of the roadmap that was intended for the game. Whilst others side with CD Projekt Red's decision, stating that you cannot demand a polished product that is rushed.
