Capcom Released a New Website with Several Announcements on the Way
Capcom released a new website to celebrate Resident Evil's 25th anniversary, teasing several announcements to be made throughout the remaining days of October.
The dates for the reveals are the 21st, the 22nd, the 25th and the 29th. With the 21st seeing three reveals, and the 22nd two, while the last days receiving only one.
Two of the nine announcements have already been made. One is a contest for Resident Evil merchandise, and the other the announcement for Resident Evil 4 VR on the Oculus Quest 2.
Speculation has been made by SegmentNext that one of the reveals will be a DLC for Resident Evil: Village, due to the fact that the background resembles a story that Rose tells to Mia in the game, and it wouldn't make sense that to include an image of it without really intending to reveal anything regarding the game.
This is backed up by the fact that Capcom announced an expansion pack for the game a few months back.
Let's keep our fingers crossed for the 29th in hopes for a DLC announcement. Until then, we'll keep our eyes peeled on the website on these coming reveals.
