Capcom Announce A Return To Street Fighter II
Capcom are revisiting the fighting game that started us all off learning quarter-circle motions by bringing Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers to the Nintendo Switch.
The title sees the addition of two new fighters, Evil Ryu and Violent Ken. Evil Ryu has succumbed to the Satsui no Hado (the energy also used by Akuma) and is now obsessed with fighting whereas Violent Ken is the result of brainwashing by M. Bison, twisting his rivalry with Ryu into pure hatred.
The game itself allows you to play with classic pixel-art style visuals or opt for an HD style, again drawn by UDON Entertainment. The folk responsible for the look of Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix.
Capcom have stated that using the Nintendo Switch's unique Joy-Con controllers allows multiplayer against each other in Arcade mode or via team-up to fight against the CPU at the same time. They've also teased brand new single-player and multiplayer modes with details to come.
No release details or pricing have been revealed except for Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers is die in 2017.
