Bungie Reveal Destiny 2: Beyond Light. The Next Destiny 2 Expansion

Bungie recently revealed the next chapter of Destiny 2 with the announcement of the games next expansion.

Titled Destiny 2: Beyond Light, this expansion will see players travel to Jupiter's frozen moon, Europa, to battle against a dark empire that has risen beneath the power of a Pyramid Ship. With the narrative of Destiny 2 now focused on the Darkness than ever before, each new release will continue the goal of Bungie delivering a single evolving world for players to experience.

In the new expansion, players will not only travel to a new location but also gain new powers by wielding the Darkness. Called Stasis, this will sit alongside the other elemental types - Arc, Solar, and Void - to add a whole new layer of gameplay opportunities. Elsewhere players can look forward to new adventures, new lost sectors, new mysterious to uncover, a new Raid, and plenty more.

More details about Destiny 2: Beyond Light will be revealed closer to the release, but for now there is plenty to get excited about. Players can pre-order the expansion today in a number of editions with all who pre-order gaining a number of rewards to use, today.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light will be releasing on 22nd September 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam, and Stadia. Players will also be able to carry their purchase over to PlayStation 5 and Xbox One X for free when the console's release.
