Brave the Horror in the Upcoming Horror Game Set In a Lighthouse — the Lightkeeper; Check Out the Trailer Here!

DarkPhobia Games has truly been living up to their name, as they're the developers and publishers for three horror games (Amenti, Homeless, and Graveyard Shift) with a new one just recently announced. The previous titles have received positive feedback on Steam, so make sure to check them out!

What could be scarier than being alone on a remote island? Having to care for a lighthouse that is haunted by the horrific deaths of the previous workers. This is exactly the plot for their upcoming game, aptly named The Lightkeeper.

Set in the 1920s, the narrative follows Arthur, a World War I veteran who takes the secluded job of being a lighthouse keeper in hopes of escaping from his haunting memories. Due to a shortage of personnel, he's tasked with doing everything on his own.

Here's what you can expect from The Lightkeeper:

  • Inspired by real-life events.
  • Lighthouse keeper duties: light and dim the beacon and keep it fueled up.
  • A 1920s setting.
  • Multiple endings, depending on the choices made during three critical moments in-game.
  • Cinematic cutscenes.
  • Realistic graphics and atmosphere.

While the game doesn't have a release date yet, it's available to wishlist on Steam, which I highly recommend. It's very useful for developers to have that and reviews!
