Bounty Battle's Animated Trailer Unites Characters From 20+ Indie Games

The elevator pitch for Bounty Battle is one of the biggest 'slam dunks' in gaming: "Smash Bros. but with indie characters". That's exactly what it is, a 2D fighter with 30 iconic characters from a range of recent indie titles. Dead Cells, Darkest Dungeon, SteamWorld Dig, Axiom Verge and a lot more get their time in the spotlight in Bounty Battle. 

Coinciding with the game's release on PC and consoles, developer Dark Screen Games released an animated trailer intended to capture the spirit of the 2D brawler. Check it out above and watch your favourite indie icons portrayed in the Bounty Battle style.

Bounty Battle is out now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Switch and PC.
