Boss Key Productions Halt Development On Lawbreakers

Boss Key Productions, the developers behind the competitive first-person shooter Lawbreakers have announced it is time to move on. 

In a blog post on their development blog the studio revealed that though they are proud of the three and a half years work that went into the title they are now moving onto new projects. Lawbreakers failed to find enough of an audience to generate he funds they hoped to upkeep the title as they had hoped.

Because of this the team is moving to focus on other projects while still supporting the game in its current state. This means that there won't be any new content updates, just the odd bug fix or two. The studio did note the option to change to free-to-play but noted "a change of this magnitude takes publishing planning and resources to do it."
