Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel's Last Hope Trailer

With a team like this, who needs enemies? 

Gearbox's newest trailer for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel shows off the full team of player characters, who are in their own words "not even close to being the good guys" and yet have somehow ended up as Elpis' last hope. In between gunfire and explosions, we get some of the first glimpses of a plot ("a bunch of fanatic soldiers will try to destroy the world") and Handsome Jack appearing surprisingly...heroic.

Narrated by the Gladiatrix Athena, the trailer wouldn't exactly leave us optimistic for Elpis' future if we didn't already (sort of) know how this was all going to turn out. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel hits digital and real-world shelves October 14 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
