Bohemia Attempted to Port Arma II to Xbox 360
Joris-Jan van 't Land the Arma project lead over at Bohemia Interactive has confessed to Eurogamer that despite best efforts a port of the military simulator Arma II was something they "just couldn't get right".
While Arma 3 is going to remian a Steam exclusive, van't Land has stated that their next project is much more likely to be multiplatform thanks to the studio having both the Xbox one and PlayStation 4 developer kits already.
He also gave hints as to what the next Arma 3 DLC will contain, terms like infantry-centric play with combined arms support, game-changing mechanics, and new terrain that is "very different" were used.
We're going to watch this one pretty closely. See you on the battlefield kiddies, after all, "What's the matter you apes? You want to live forever?"
