Blue Archive Begins "Special Summer Mission" with Three New Students!
As of the 26th of December, Blue Archive, the popular mobile RPG from Nexon began its latest event: Special Summer Mission! RABBIT Squad and the Mystery of the Missing Shrimp.
The RABBIT Squad, including three new students, Miyu (Swimsuit), Miyako (Swimsuit), and Saki (Swimsuit), arrive to investigate Yatoura Village's sudden shrimp shortage and the strange legends that they uncover.
For those not familiar with Blue Archive, allow me to explain. In this RPG, you take on the role of Sensei, who is called by the President of the General Student Council to save the academic city of Kivotos from an influx of crime. There are always new updates featuring new characters, missions, and events, allowing you to meet new students and instruct them in strategic combat.
As of this latest update, players can get a 10-Recruitment Ticket from the "Summer Secret Mission! Capture a RABBIT!" event to get more new students to optimise your gameplay strategy with your new characters.
Speaking of new characters, let's talk a little bit more about the RABBIT Squad. Miyu (Swimsuit) is an Explosive-type Special Student who, with her powerful EX-skill, can inflict a fixed amount of critical damage that is proportional to her attack stats on an enemy in a straight line. Joining Miyu (Swimsuit) are Miyako (Swimsuit) and Saki (Swimsuit).
Miyako is a Piercing-type Striker who wields a submachine gun and is the real leader of the group. With her EX-skill, she can reduce the amount of critical damage dealt by an enemy by 50 seconds. Meanwhile, Saki is an Explosive-type Striker who studies at the SRT Special Academy and has an EX-skill that decreases your enemy's defence, attack, and critical damage.
Along with these new characters, you'll find a new story which will be released everyday from the 30th of December to the 9th of January. All you need to do is press the Snap button on the event page. You can also earn various items by climbing high on the SRT-Style Bouldering Minigame, which will be available on Blue Archive until the 19th of February.
So, interested in the event? If so, you may want to move quickly, as it's only running until the 9th of January.
