BlizzCon Online 2021: Chains of Domination Trailer Unveiled

The next phase of World of Warcraft will focus on defeating The Jailer as he aims to unmake the universe. In the trailer for the “Chains of Domination,” Sylvanas Windrunner is shown as her allegiance is torn between The Maw and The Shadowlands. King Anduin Wrynn pleads with her to make the right choice.

We then fade to Bastion as we watch Anduin enter Elysian Hold to speak with Kyrestia the Firstborne. At the end of their conversation, it is revealed that he is possessed by The Jailer. He strikes and kills her, taking a key from her to deliver to The Jailer, thus completing the first part of Zovaal’s four-part plan to unleash the power of the Maw.

The trailer ends with The Jailer saying “three keys remain. Then, they will see that death was never meant to be chained.”

This suggests that players will be defending the remaining three Shadowlands regions—Revendreth, Ardenweald, and Maldraxxus—against The Jailer and his forces from the Maw.

Along with new quests, Chains of Domination will bring a new eight boss mega-dungeon , set in a bazaar of the mysterious Brokers. There is also a new 10 boss raid: the Sanctum of Domination, setting you against the Banshee Queen.

Of course, there will be new armour to don, and hopefully protect you against these new threats; the Covenant cosmetic armour sets, which can be worn by any class. There are new mounts, PvP Season 2 and flying
