Blizzard Takes Some Feedback on Diablo IV
The long-awaited Diablo IV is coming up quickly on the calendar. After several years of waiting, and some horrible times for the franchise — not including Diablo II: Resurrected — the world of Sanctuary is set to make a comeback. At least that is what fans are hoping for.
Last month Blizzard Entertainment opened Diablo IV’s beta to the public. Players naturally had plenty to say about the various aspects of the game, such as the classes available and dungeons to explore. Well, it seems Blizzard is not taking chances with this one and are taking the input from their fans to heart.
When Diablo IV launches, players will be greeted with a myriad of changes and fixes. One such change you can expect is some tweaking to class balance — that's right, some classes are getting buffed, while others are getting the axe brought down on them before launch day — most notably Barbarians, Rogues, and Druids are getting buffed while Necromancers are being nerfed. A few general class abilities are being tweaked as well.
Dungeons and Cellars are getting some work done too, with changes to event spawn rates and fixes for premature completion notifications. Blizzard has also looked into the community comments about too much backtracking in Dungeons. This has caused them to adjust all Dungeon layouts to reduce the amount of backtracking player’s will be doing.

I have to say, I have my fingers crossed that Diablo IV will revive the franchise from the lacklustre situation it has been in these past several years.
Diablo IV releases on the 6th of June 2023, and will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
