Blizzard Launches Battle.net Mobile App

Blizzard has gone mobile with yet another app under their belt! With the new Battle.net mobile app players can chat and organise their gaming sessions on the go as well as see who is online and what they are playing. The addition of adding friends via QR codes in person is a nice touch, making it easy to add new friends while at events or meet ups.

While lacking in many features this new app may be a launch pad for the future to come, with the addition of Destiny on Battle.net, a non-Blizzard title, we might start seeing more of the same added later. This app could start bridging the gap between communities, see a friend you made in Destiny, now playing Heroes of the Storm, drop them a message and start playing together.

The Blizzard Battle.net app is available now for iOS and Android.
