Bladed Fury Slashed its Way into the 2021 Numskull Presents Showcase

The February 2021 Numskull Presents event gave us another look at the 2D action platformer Bladed fury, set for release March 2021 and available for pre-order now on PlayStation 4 and Switch. Check out the trailer above.

Set in a surreal world based on both Chinese mythology and real Chinese history, Bladed Fury puts players in the shoes of Ji, an exiled princess who must clear her name after being falsely accused of murdering her father. On top of that, the rival Tian Clan have taken control of the region and Ji must fight to see them off.

On her journey, Ji will face all manner of mythical creatures, meeting deities and earning superhuman powers in the process. At its core, however, Bladed Fury is a fast-paced 2D action platformer with a wide range of combat options, an intricate art style and deep roots in Chinese culture.

Bladed Fury releases on PlayStation 4 and Switch March 2021. It’s available for pre-order now.
