Black Myth: Wukong Passes Surprising Sales Milestone Just Days After Its Release

Game Science just recently shook the world with Black Myth: Wukong's release, breaking Palworld's numbers set early in 2024 in what seems to be the last hit of the year (though, with 2024, we're not discounting anything). Their achievements surpass just being the second most-played title on Steam, however, as on the official @BlackMythGame X account, the team posted a new update.

Black Myth: Wukong just passed its 10,000,000 units sold across all platforms on the 23rd of August 2024. This graphic also shares its impressive 3,000,000 concurrent players across all platforms, too, showing that its success is echoed across the PlayStation ecosystem and other launchers (like the Epic Games Store and WeGame).

This is no small achievement or feat, and only time will tell what Game Science will have in store in the future, either for Black Myth: Wukong itself or future projects.
