Battlezone 98 Redux Comes to GOG Alongside Renowned DLC Announcement
Back in the day of the original Battlezone 98 (in 1998 funnily enough) there was an expansion called Red Odyssey. This expansion was well received by those in North America but it never got released outside of that area. It added additional two new campaigns, with 23 missions across China and America, and was renowned for being a tough challenge to add to the game.
That particularly sought-after content is now available to players of the revamped version of the game, Battlezone 98 Redux. The game has been released DRM-free to GOG and alongside it, the Red Odyssey content is also getting a remastering ready for launch later this year.
The GOG version of the game features all the same content that you got from the Steam release, but with the addition of being entirely DRM-free. To entice those who haven’t yet got a copy and weren’t holding out for DRM-free, there’s a 33% launch discount available now as well.
