Battlerite Royale Scares up a Halloween Update

Coming on Wednesday, nice and early before Halloween, is Battlerite Royale's October event - Curse Of The Night.

It's coming with a Halloween-decorated map called “the Haunted Keep”, as well as new gameplay objects called “Trick or Treat Shrines”. These give players a random buff or debuff, such as being transformed into a black cat with increased movement speed, or intoi a ghost who scares and instills panic in other players.

An example of a trick, however, is being frozen in fear, unable to move for a short duration of time.

The update will bring a new champion, Ruh Kaan, The Crypt Warden to the character roster. A wielder of dark powers, Ruh Kaan is a melee champion who consumes the souls of those who stand in his way.

Both Battlerite and Battlerite Royale players can expect a spooky Halloween theme packed with event quests, weapons, avatars, mounts and three brand new legendary outfits.

The new update will spook both Battlerite and Battlerite Royale veterans and new players alike from 17th October.
