Battlefield Hardline Open Beta Announced for all Platforms
It's all out Cops and Robbers in the latest Battlefield Hardline from EA and Visceral Games. And now it's been announced there will be a upcoming Open Beta for all you Battlefield fans out there.
While there isn't any confirmation on when the open beta will start; just be sure that Visceral Games are working hard to convince players that this isn't just a Battlefield 4 skin or a full priced expansion. After all, they did delay the game till March this year to make improvements so, let's hope it pays off.
The Open Beta will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Truly open for all. And will include two multiplayer maps (Downtown and Dustbowl) as well as two playable gametypes (Hotwire and Conquest) allowing up to 64 players all out action (likely 24 player on 360/PS3).
It is also worth mentioning that the beta will have no level cap so, you are welcome to work your way through the ranks of a Cop or making a name as Criminal without limit; an excellent way to get a taste of each class, weapons and equipment.
Visceral Games have stated that this Open Beta isn't much about giving players a chance to try out the game before it's release, it is also a way to make the game better. Feedback will be available, which can be put forth on their forums here.
Battlefield Hardline is set to release March 17, 2015 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One as well as Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
