Battlefield: Hardline Hit By DDoS Attack
Battlefield: Hardline has been hit by a DDoS attack, EA have confirmed.
Following its launch in the US earlier this week, many Xbox One users reported that they could not connect to the servers for long periods of time.
A tweet from the EA's Battlefield account this morning suggests that problems are still present with the first-person shooter's servers. Whether or not this is linked to the earlier DDoS attack has not been confirmed.
We are aware of the ongoing #BFHardline connectivity issues. We've got our best on it and hope to resolve soon. Thanks for your patience.

Battlefield 4, Hardline's predecessor, was rife with connectivity issues following its launch back in 2013, with EA deeming them unacceptable. This forced Battlefield: Hardline's delay into 2015 in order to ensure the best possible outcome for the next addition to the series.
Battlefield: Hardline takes the player from the familiar war setting and plunges them into the world of the police force, fighting against drug dealers, human traffickers and bank robbers.
Following a staggered release, Battlefield: Hardline will be released in the UK on 20th March.
