Battlefield 1 PC Requirements Revealed
Battlefield 1 arrives next month and for those who had the chance to play the beta will certainly know how well their PC's perform. But if you didn't get a chance or you want to know exactly what's required and recommended, then check out the system requirements below:
MINIMUM SPECS
- OS: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
- Processor (AMD): AMD FX-6350
- Processor (Intel): Core i5 6600K
- Memory: 8GB RAM
- Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon™ HD 7850 2GB
- Graphics card (NVIDIA): nVidia GeForce® GTX 660 2GB
- DirectX: 11.0 Compatible video card or equivalent
- Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection
- Hard-drive space: 50GB

- OS: 64-bit Windows 10 or later
- Processor (AMD): AMD FX 8350 Wraith
- Processor (Intel): Intel Core i7 4790 or equivalent
- Memory: 16GB RAM

- DirectX: 11.1 Compatible video card or equivalent
- Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection

Battlefield 1 developed by DICE, uses the latest Frostbite engine and over the years, DICE have refined and further optimised the engine for a wide variety of systems.
From the requirements, it does appear that we're a looking a rather CPU-demanding release. Of course, like most system requirements they never have to be exact, the game will still be playable on older systems. So if you've got yourself an i5 4670K or GTX 970/980 or even older you'll be fine, albeit at lower graphical settings.
Battlefield 1 arrives 21st October for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
