Batman is Getting the Telltale Treatment
Telltale, the studio behind episode's such as Game of Thrones - A Telltale Games Series and The Walking Dead, has announced a Batman series.
The announcement was made in the form of a teaser trailer, shown last night during The Game Awards, teasing the gritty nature the project looks to be heading in, a style synonymous with Batman.
A post of the Telltale blog stated that:
"At Telltale, we've been honored to bring our unique approach to interactive storytelling to some of the biggest entertainment franchises in the world, and we're excited to announce that we'll soon be exploring what it means to be Batman in an all-new series starting next year. This iteration of Batman will give fans a first-hand opportunity to dive deeper into the complex life and mind of Bruce Wayne, the duality of his own identity, and the struggle of responsibility in saving a city overcome with corruption and villainy."
- Telltale co-founder and CEO Kevin Bruner.
This means that Telltale now have their hands on both a DC and a Marvel property after the announcement of an episodic Marvel series coming in 2017.
Telltale's Batman series will be available before that, in 2016.
