Batman: Arkham Knight Red Hood DLC

Originally announced was the Harley Quinn pre-order DLC which will let players control the nutty psychiatrist and former beau of The Joker.

However, Gamestop have posted a teaser to Twitter about some more DLC which will be announced today.

And it appears it will be for Red Hood pre-order DLC, which will allow players to play as former-Robin II Jason 'Red Hood' Todd. This image was leaked to the internet ahead of Gamestop's upcoming tweet:

For those who have never heard of Red Hood before, the original is supposedly who Joker was before he fell into the vat of chemicals that created him. When Joker murdered Jason Todd, the second Robin after Dick Grayson, he was resurrected and driven a little crazy. Jason Todd - in the New 52 continuity - utilises Batman's training to dish out a harsher justice using guns instead of batarangs. He travels around with Roy Harper and Koriand'r - aka Arsenal and Starfire - usually getting into scrapes they don't mean to.

You don't want to know how Jason Todd was before the New 52 continuity...

So the DLC will focus on the darker side of Batman mythos, presumably due to the fact one has lost the man she loved and the other has lost the man he despised (Joker in both cases), in the events of Arkham City.

There will also be additional bonus missions for the PS4 version, in the form of a Scarecrow-controlled Gotham.

So there will be plenty of stuff for comic book fans when Batman: Arkham Knight is released for PS4, Xbox One and PC next year.
